20'' Soft Rubber Squeegee (PT-RS01)
The main function is to control material flow, adjust thickness, eliminate bubbles, and ensure the uniformity and flatness of the floor coating.
Soft rubber materials (such as polyurethane rubber) can gently push the paint, reduce scratches, and help epoxy/polyurethane materials flow naturally.
Especially suitable for high solid content, high viscosity materials (such as epoxy mortar, polyaspartic acid ester).
The sawtooth structure of the rake can break the bubbles generated during construction and reduce the pinhole defects after the coating is cured.
Construction skills
Rake selection:
Tooth depth: 1-2mm for thin coating, 3-5mm for self-leveling.
Material: soft rubber (hardness 50-60 Shore A) Avoid scratching the primer.
Construction steps:
Step 1: After pouring the material, use a rake to scrape horizontally at a 30° angle.
Step 2: Scrape twice in the cross direction (such as horizontally first and then vertically) to ensure that there are no omissions.
Step 3: Roll with a defoaming roller to further remove bubbles.
Precautions:
The construction speed must be uniform to avoid pauses that cause uneven thickness.
When the temperature is below 10°C, the material has poor fluidity and the rake can be preheated to assist in construction.
